  • Earned Doctorate in College Veterinarian Medicine from Washington State University in 1974.
  • Extensive experience in small animal medicine.
  • Has worked in both the private and corporate sectors with ownership and management of many veterinary hospitals.
  • Current owner of YVH with special interest in the human/animal bond and the importance of pets to human health and well-being.

 

 

Jerry Brown, DVM

  • Doctorate from Washington State University.
  • Co-Founder of Yelm Veterinary Hospital.
  • Currently focuses primarily on small animal orthopedic surgery, soft tissue surgery and critical care.

 

 

Don Henricksen, DVM
  • Opened Yelm Veterinary Hospital in 1976.
  • Doctorate from Washington State University.
  • Extensive work in the dairy industry with emphasis in bovine reproductive work.
  • Currently, special interest in small animal internal medicine and soft tissue surgery.

 

 

Charles Kegley, DVM

  • Doctorate from Washington State University.
  • Years of emphasis on equine medicine.
  • Current emphasis on small animal internal medicine and ultrasonography.

 

Irene Choi, DVM

  • Bachelor's in Zoology from University of Washington, Seattle.
  • Doctorate from Ohio State University.
  • Joined our Hospital in 2007.
  • Currently focused on companion animal medicine, with an interest in exotic animal medicine.

 

Claire Griffin, DVM

  • Doctorate from University of Tennessee.
  • Joined our Hospital in 2007.
  • Special interest in small animal medicine and ultrasound.
